Buying goods.
The European Consumer Centre of Malta has recently issued a short brochure giving general advice about buying goods.
The brochure outlines some general information consumers should be aware of should any products they bought be faulty, not fit for their purpose or otherwise do not conform to the contract of sale.
Since the European Consumer Centre handles exclusively consumer cases where the purchase was made from another EU Member State, the brochure also explains what are commercial guarantees and outlines also some advice in relation to “international warranties” particularly when goods are purchased from another EU Member State.
