The European Consumer Centre (Malta) has just launched two brochures, one aimed at tourists wishing to visit the Maltese islands, and the other providing general information about the ECC Net.
The “Tourism in Malta” brochure, compiled by ECC Malta contains practical advice as well as important information concerning travel to Malta and thus it is of particular interest to tourists. One can find useful information about health care, transport, driving requirements and accommodation amongst other things.
“The European Consumer Centres Network” is issued and published by the Publications Office of the Commission. As its title implies, it explains the aim of the ECC-Net, its background, as well as its activities and services. A list of all the centres within the European Union, and the centres located in Iceland and Norway, is also included. It is useful as an introductory guide to the general public about this European network assisting consumers with any queries they have about cross-border shopping within the European Union.
Both brochures are available at the ECC’s premises, 47A, South Street Valletta.
