5. Unfair Terms in Consumer Contracts – warns the consumer about clauses in contracts that might put him/her at a disadvantage.

6. Misleading Advertising – advises consumers about adverts that might mislead them.

7. Distance Selling Regulations – informs consumers about their rights when they purchase a product from a distance.

8. Doorstep Contracts Act – warns consumers about door-to-door sellers and their obligations.

9. Price Indication Regulations – informs consumers about their rights as regards prices on products for sale.
